On this year’s national day holiday, there are 4 days that I do not have to go to school. The first 2 days are the public holidays whereas the other 2 is the weekends. During the holiday, lots of interesting happened and that there was the national day parade where there is fireworks. Although I did not went to the parade itself, I stayed at home to watch the live broadcast and that when the fireworks starts, I could hear it from my house. Also, I could finally have some extra days for me to rest up and get ready for the studies ahead. So right now, I’ll start to focus more on my studies and hopefully I can pass my end of year examination with a grade that I targeted for myself.

On the actual day of the national day celebration and our jumble sale, the two groups in my class joined to become one group and we shared the things we got to sell them during the event. The things we sold during the jumble sale is mainly used and seconded. Whereas some of the items are still new and unused just that no one uses it and hence we took them out and sell them. The main objective for this jumble sale is to collect the money that we got from selling the items and donate it for the needy students. This is a very interesting event as this is the first time I actually had my own store and sell my own items and that I find this event very meaningful as we could help the needy students as well as to gain experience on how we could manage our own stores.

For this year’s national day celebration as well as the preparation work for the jumble sale in which we were supposed to present on the 8th august, we grouped ourselves into 2 groups. My group consists of Gayathri, Keith, Zheng feng, Kalai, Narain, Vicky, and myself. During the preparation work, the each and every one of us in the group was given our own responsibility on what we were supposed to do and bring. As for the preparation, I did not really enjoy it because the rest of my group was not really participating and that we could not get things done because of that.

My name is Wang Bo, I came from China to study in Singapore. I live in a family of three members,with my father working in China and my mother staying in Singapore with me.

Things I do at home are very simple, like playing computer games, listening to musics and doing homework. If i have free time I would go out with my friends to play basketball as my hobby is to play basketball and some other sports.

When I was young, I once lived in Japan for two years. I like Japan, this country is very beautiful and romantic. I also like to go shopping over there, as things over there are of reasonable price and also up to fashion.

Singapore is a beautiful place and alot of foreigner like to stay here. I too, would like to stay in Singapore for a longer period of time if possible as I like it here.
